Background: Builder Specialties (owner of the site, Atlantaappliances.net) is located in Metro Atlanta and sells name brand appliances off their showroom floor. They also offer installation for their clients. They have been in business for over 40 years. They came to Noodlehead Studios as a referral.
The Challenge: In metro Atlanta there are hundreds of businesses that are selling appliance. Builder Specialties understood that they needed to stand out from the marketplace. They built a parent site with Noodlehead Studios and also decided to have Noodlehead Studios produce a lead generation page.
The Strategy: The lead generation page (also known as a microsite) is designed to generate traffic when there is not only an abundance of competitors but also when a business has several market entry points to consider. We identified several SEO conditions that had to be met with the lead generation page:
Clearly targeting “Atlanta Appliances” Optimizing meta tags, page titles, copy, link text Using the parent site as leverage, completing the link cycle of parent to child site Ensuring the connection between the SEO and the products featured Building the social media component into the lead generation site
The Results: The SEO and lead generate site paid off rather quickly for Noodlehead Studios. Not only have the keywords (listed below) landed Builder Specialties onto the first page, it also strengthened the ranking of the parent site.
